why would they just "scratch the surface." come on now, gears of war is a great game, but you guys have eaten all there is to eat on the plate and you'll always be hungry for more. but that's normal? if graphics could just keep getting better for infinity, who wouldnt want more?

T HQ is the worst game dev out there. only good game was saints row and that isnt even that great (GTA knock off). they are untalented unoriginal faygs that make horrible games. i sincerely hope they lose theyre license for wwe. give it to a dev who knows how to make games
also even if EA got it, its better than THQ. EA could at least implement some nice physics. they make really good 1 on 1 games. (i.e. fnr3)
if the 360 version ended up being released later and looked better, it is more powerful than ps3.

I play and own FNR3 for 360 and it's obvious the game was not rushed. It is an excellent game and by means 100% next gen. But what's wrong with it looking better for PS3? and It was completeley their choice to release it for 360 in feb, no one was forcing them, it wasn't 1st party.

FF games have always been fun, and i'm not a fan of turn-based RPG's.
If this game does somehow turn out to be a traditional turn-based kinda game, it'll still be fun, but i would like to see a new system.
truth i have to agree with you, but don't expect too much out of the ps3 in its first full year. Expect just as much as the 360 in 2005 and 2006 or perhaps alittle bit more

are you kidding me? you must not know a high end PC. I own a crazy pc and can play fear maximum on every setting a a solid 130+ fps. I got the demo on live. It runs at a smooth 30 fps and the graphics aren't as good as a PC, so i'll play it on my PC. But I think this is only because it is a port of the pc version.
Also, I'm not a fan of console fps simply because controllers!! if consoles could support keyboard + mouse that'd be nice because it would make console fps alot more...
anything not exclusive to ps3 or funded by sony are third-party titles. Yes, that includes Lucas Arts unless one of their projects got funded by sony/ms, which is really the only way they'd make a console exclusive

xbox360 was released end of 2005, did we see too many games in 2005, NO thats because it was just launched!!! even 2006, we still dont hbave many 360 games! we wont see a good batch of 360 games until the end of 2006, (November)
what im trying to prove is that 2007 for the ps3 is going to be 2006 for xbox 360. Ps3 will truly romp on xbox 360 at the end of 2007-early 2008.

i've never really been a fan of xbox 360, ever since it came out ( i've had one since launch ) but i can say that i was extremely dissapointed with all the launch titles because they were last gen, and ms told us that after launch we'd see true next gen games, i assumed a year as did everyone, and one year later we get games that were hitman blood money (horrible next gen game!) and prey (just a doom 3 mod to me, not worth $60).

i really am a fan of sony, however I can't say as much as the real deal because he has a ps3. I used to think nothing would get in the way of ps3...
ive owned a 360 since launch, and up until gears, seriously im unimpressed. I seemed to think that the ps3 would be perfect for my needs and wants, and it offered all the games i wanted.
